Proceeds from the event support Action for Cheetahs in Kenya (ACK)
and the Animal Ark Wildlife Sanctuary.
Meet the cheetah, Tango, from Project Survival's Cat Haven.
Hear Mary Wykstra and Cosmas Wambua of Action for Cheetahs in Kenya discuss the plight of the cheetah in the wild.
Festivities begin around 2:00pm. Take a stroll around Animal Ark before meeting Tango, up-close and personal. Enjoy a cocktail from the open bar, while chatting with the invited special speakers from Africa, as well as other guests. Savor a catered dinner beneath tents as the sun lowers in the sky. After dinner, the Animal Ark cheetahs, Zulu, Moyo, and Jamar, will run at high speeds around the Animal Ark cheetah field.
You will almost feel as if you are in Africa - enjoying sundowners and watching cheetahs run!
Tickets are $125 per individual. "Game Drive" tickets are $200 per individual, and include a personal tour of Animal Ark with founders Aaron and Diana Hiibel.
Tables seating up to 10 people can be purchased for $1000.
Desserts for the event have been generously donated by Tim Carman, Pastry Chef, on behalf of El Dorado Casino Resort Bakery.

From Reno: Take US 395 North to Red Rock Road (Exit 78). Turn right and drive 11.5 miles to Deerlodge Road. Turn right on Deerlodge Road, drive 1 mile and turn right into signed driveway.
It is advised to call ahead if there is any concern over inclement weather.
